Volvagia.jpgVolvagia Concept Sketch1533 viewsHere I am just playing with the volvagia design, seeing what works and whatnot. I only drew the special areas, and the small sketch of volvagia compares his size to link. What I did is add in the spike on the elbow, Crested his brow with jewels, and made his skin more rough and molten-rock like. I also added that spike thing on his tail, just to make it unique and maybe another weapon he could use. The idea is that lava and fire lie just below his skin, so when he stretches, fire seeps out. Anything else I should add before I put him make a final stage design? Braxis

self pencil.jpgA Different Gerudo King1530 viewsI've always wanted to know what the other gerudo kings looked like. This is a postulation of mine, using just an ordinary pencil and plain white paper. Not even photoshop.
The reference for the pic was, bleh, me. I have a very Egyptian look to me (gee, wonder why...), and so what better way of designing something than using your own body parts? yes, i do have a beard patch, but no, the rest of my hair is not like that. i have very bushy wild hair that i did not feel like drawing. i tried to get the shadows under the eyes right but it kind of failed.
oh, and the background... kind of cropped up halfway through the sketching process, i got tired of following reality. but then i wnet back to shading, which erased a lot of the Egytian details. There were several shading things i didn't like, but my hand was getting shiny and cramped, so i stopped.Koroks Rock

the calm before....JPGThe Calm Before...1529 viewsanyone who's seen the trailers of twilight princess has noticed that the weather sorta varies a bit. there are a lot of storms, and i've noticed cloud shadows, which gave me the idea for this. i also got some inspiration from the incredibly green light that was outside my window while doing this. so, here is some (somewhat) realistic weather i hope to see--tell me if it's overdone, especially the greenness. and yes, it's snowy. for one thing, i'd like to see snow in tp, and for another, the lighting just didn't show up on grass.the_ocarina_of_time
